Terms of Service

Important Notice: FindMeCars is a sourcing advisory service. We are NOT the seller of the vehicle. We do not hold stock. The contract of sale for the vehicle is strictly between you (The Buyer) and the Dealer (The Seller).

1. Scope of Service

FindMeCars ("We", "Us") provides a vehicle identification and due diligence service. By purchasing a sourcing package (Clarity, Strategy, or Specialist), you are paying for our time, expertise, and access to trade data. Our service includes:

Searching the UK market (Trade and Retail) based on your criteria.
Conducting provenance checks (HPI, Finance, Theft, Write-off).
Analyzing market pricing to ensure fair value.
Providing a shortlist of recommended vehicles.

2. Limitation of Liability

While we exercise professional due diligence to identify high-quality vehicles, we cannot guarantee the mechanical condition of any used vehicle.

Mechanical Faults: We rely on MOT history, service records, and seller descriptions. We do not physically inspect the engine, gearbox, or components unless the "Executive Sourcing" package is purchased.
Post-Purchase Issues: Any mechanical failures, warranty claims, or disputes arising after the purchase are the sole responsibility of the selling dealer. FindMeCars is not liable for repair costs.
Digital Accuracy: We are not responsible for errors in third-party data providers (e.g., HPI or AutoTrader specs).

3. Fees & Payments

All sourcing fees are fixed and payable in advance. We do not accept commission from dealers. This ensures our advice remains impartial.

Refunds: Please refer to our separate Refund Policy. Generally, fees are non-refundable once the search process has commenced and we have delivered a shortlist matching your agreed criteria.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information regarding your budget and requirements. If you change your criteria significantly (e.g., switching from a BMW 3 Series to a Ford Transit) after the search has begun, a new fee may be applicable.

5. Negotiation Service

If purchased, we act as your agent to negotiate the price. We cannot guarantee a specific saving amount. The fee for negotiation is payable for the service of negotiating, regardless of the final discount achieved.
